A Vision Takes Root

• Vidyaa Vikas Educational and Charitable Trust (VVECT) was established on September 12, 1996, marking the beginning of an enduring commitment to quality education.
• The Trust started its Higher Secondary School with a modest beginning.

• In July 1997, the school commenced classes with a student strength of 165, laying a strong foundation for its future growth.

Expansion of Academic Wings

• In June 1998, the Secondary Wing (Classes VI to X) was introduced, expanding learning opportunities for more students.

A Mark of Trust and Excellence

• In March 1999, the school was allotted as a Public Examination Centre for the first batch of students — a significant milestone that reflected its academic credibility.

Commitment to Social Service

• In June 2002, the school witnessed the advent of the NSS (National Service Scheme), fostering a spirit of service and leadership among students.

Milestones in Growth

December 2003 marked a year of transformation:

• The Higher Secondary Section was bifurcated into Boys and Girls Schools, ensuring focused attention on student welfare and discipline.
• The Scout Movement was registered, encouraging teamwork and community service.
• The institution was upgraded to Vidyaa Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School, a significant stride toward educational excellence.

Nurturing Teachers of Tomorrow

• In July 2004, the Vidyaa Vikas Teacher Training Institute (T.T.I) was inaugurated to prepare aspiring teachers for the noble profession of education.

Broadening Educational Horizons

• In September 2005, an IGNOU Programme Study Centre for B.Ed. and Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher Training (TNOU) was established, expanding opportunities for teacher education.

A Leap into Higher Education

• The Vidyaa Vikas Teacher Training Institute and Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering were formally opened in January 2006, marking the Trust’s entry into higher education.

Academic Enrichment

• In June 2007, M.Ed. and MCA programs were introduced at Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology, strengthening its postgraduate offerings.

Global Footprints

• The Trust expanded internationally with the establishment of Vikas International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a proud international milestone.

Continued Expansion

• January 2009: Introduction of MBA and B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) at Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology.
• April 2009: Introduction of B.E. (Civil Engineering).
• Establishment of Vidyaa Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Karamadai, Coimbatore, extending quality education to western Tamil Nadu.

Spreading Educational Excellence

• Establishment of Vidyaa Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Gandharvakottai, Pudukottai District, extending the Trust’s educational mission to new communities.

Embracing CBSE Curriculum

• Vidyaa Vikas International School (CBSE) was inaugurated at Tiruchengode, introducing globally aligned education under the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Further Outreach

• The Trust founded Vidyaa Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Morepalayam, Tiruchengode, furthering its vision of accessible, value-based education.

Strengthening the Network

• Establishment of Vidyaa Vikas International School at Karamadai, Coimbatore, marking continued excellence in both Matric and CBSE streams.

A New Milestone

• The Trust proudly launched Vidyaa Vikas International School at Gandharvakottai, expanding its commitment to international-standard education in the region.
